Ardor is a great spot if youβre looking for elevated food with creative presentation. Every dish looked beautiful coming out of the kitchen, and the desserts were especially impressive. The standout for me was the polenta. It was rich, creamy, and easily my favorite thing we ordered. The roasted chicken was cooked perfectly, and both desserts were excellent. My only minor complaint is that theyβre served with tablespoons instead of teaspoons, which made them feel a little less refined than they deserved. The bread was good, but the real highlight was the incredibly silky butter. The pizza had an outstanding crust with a great char and chew, but overall it was probably the one dish Iβd skip next time in favor of trying something else on the menu. Overall, Ardor delivers a unique dining experience with excellent execution, beautiful plating, and several memorable dishes. Definitely worth a visit, and Iβm already looking forward to going back to explore more of the menu.

We went here for the first time for dinner on a friday night. They sat us upstairs which was amazing! Our waitress was great and let us know we had a few mins to order from the happy hour menu so we got our order in quick! We got some sour dough to start which was really great and we got two pizzas that came out in a timely matter for it being busy. The pizza was delicious. We will absolutely be back to try new things!

It's rare to find such a good bakery, the pastries are delicious and so are the focaccia sandwiches. The coffee also hits the spot, your staff are lovely & always have the time for a little chat. It's a good job I don't live in Peoria but I will always visit when I'm in town π. Would you ever offer baguette sandwiches?

Ardor is absolutely incredible! The pastries were delicious, scrumptious, and honestly heavenly. We tried the cardamom pastry, cookies and cream pastry, and the cheese danish, and every single one was outstanding. I highly recommend all three. One thing I didn't realize before visiting is that there are both front and back entrances. The front entrance is perfect if you're just looking to grab something quickly and go, while the back entrance leads to the seating area for those who want to stay and enjoy their treats. Everything tasted fresh and expertly made. This bakery is definitely worth a visit! If I'm ever back in this area I will be sure to try more of their amazing pastries!

Wow! What a great place! Stumbled upon it by accident & so glad I know this place exists now I will be back! Food was phenomenal! The trout sandwich was amazing, appetizer plate of meat & cheese spreads was delicious. Canβt wait to try the pastries I purchased for breakfast tomorrow. The breads were all very dark which isnβt my preference but they were still good. A few of the croissants in the case actually looked burnt but I did not try one, so to each their own. There was a good deal on the menu with soup, sandwich & drink for $33 which seemed pretty reasonable, glad I tried it. No chips or fries to go with the sandwiches but the soup went well. It was really good tomato soup possible the best I may have ever had. Server was a little absent but maybe she was just busy, took a minute to get our checks. But overall a great experience & canβt wait to go back & try more off their menu.
